New adventures - ‘Bring it On’ - Europe, Spring 2024

“…most people live to live within their comfort zones…Now, that’s great if being mediocre is your goal, but not so great if you’re serious about living your greatest life…We need to see those moments when our heart skips a beat and our palms start to sweat as the gifts that they are — tickets to our destiny.” “BRING IT ON!” — Brian Johnson

Well, I’m not sure about you, but there are a number of things that scare the crap out of me and as I get older these fears have grown more intense. So, I’m pushing myself to enjoy the challenges of new adventures, new ways to travel, new ways to experience life to the fullest. First challenge - fly on a military aircraft for FREE to Europe. Well, free is relative, my awesome husband earned it as an Army retiree.

We departed Maryland to Dover, Deleware to take a Space-A voyage to Europe! When we arrived in Dover the flights were no longer available for that day. So we explored the free Air Mobility Musuem, (donations requested). We are not big museum people, but the weather was beautiful and the opportunity to explore various aircraft outside was enticing. We spent nearly 4 hours there with our personal FREE guide. I was in awe at how large these aircraft are/were and what their purpose for flight entailed. Check out some of our pictures.

We were invited to check out the boom compartment and Jack operating it!

Exploring Air Force 2 and old WWII aircraft

Even if you’re not a museum person, this one is worth a visit and we highly recommend requesting a guide. And you never know what you’ll see from the tower.
