25-year Anniversary Trip - Montreal, Canada - May 2024

Yep, Jack and I have been married for 25 years. Our wedding feels like it was yesterday! We have had such an amazing love and life story, with lots of adventures, laughs, respect, wins, and fun along the way. Sharing pictures from our Wedding Day May 15, 1999, and every 5 years, til our 25th Anniversary - May 15, 2024.

While in Montreal...

On day one, we downloaded a VoiceMap tour and walked from Mile End to Outremont. On day two, we took the "Non Touristy Pink Bike Tour by Spade & Palacio" - experiencing much of Montreal in 4 hours, and visited the Botanical Gardens and Olympic Stadium.

While there, you cannot miss all the murals, and we delighted in taking in some of the stories behind this amazing art!

On day three, we participaed in the "Beyond the Basilica Walking Tour by Spade & Palacio," admiring the Basilica, the statues, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the Underground, and China Town.

And, on our anniversary, we hiked the very steep trail to Mount Royal, and enjoyed a lovely Italian meal.

5 Tips for visiting Montreal

1. Highly recommend Space & Palacio tours - the groups are small and the sites you see are unforgettable.

2. Hike up (or at least down) Mount Royal - the views are breath taking.

3. Check out all the amazing Murals.

4. Timing - May is iffy when it comes to weather - most days it was 50-70degrees F. Layers are a must and bring a rain jacket.

5. For food, definitely try a bagel or a bagel sandwich - Jack liked Kettleman's the best - and our dinner at Wienstein & Gavino's was fabulious.
