Inspirational Update - 3 May 2024

This past weekend, I volunteered to clean up our community. My step-daughter Autumn works for the local library and every year they participate in the “Bring a Broom” event. This year, I was able to lend a hand. It was both a workout and fun to hang out with Autumn and her collegues, while we made one street cleaner in Frederick. See the beautiful sidewalk 😁 to the right of the photo! Hugs to all - especially this awesome library crew - who participated to make our city shine! 🤗

I also joined some of my BFFs/lifelong friends for a monthly dinner. Great conversation as we face some of the challenges of aging. I am grateful for their friendship and for the challenges and opportunities we share. ❤️ Hugs to my amazing friends. 🤗

For those following our travels, we made it home safely, this time on a C5 - a plane almost as long and wide as a football field. Amazing feat of engineering! We had seats on the upper deck with lots of cargo below us. Hugs to my hubby who earned us the ability to travel on these aircraft! 🤗
